Our summer programming offers middle and high school students a taste of the Clark Fork Prep experience. Whether you’re looking for academic support, wanting to explore a new skill, or simply interested unleashing the power of your own curiosity, CFP’s summer programs have you covered.
All programs:
take place at Clark Fork Prep (301 E. Main in downtown Missoula)
are designed for rising 7th-10th graders (except College Essay Writing)
cost $160 for half-day programming

SUMMER PROGRAMMING
Programming Tech: The Power of Code
Spend a week learning what coding can do, why it’s worth understanding, and what power it holds. You will work with several languages, including SmallBASIC, Scratch, and Python.
DATES: June 16-20
TIME: 9am-noon
AGES: Rising 7th-10th graders
Requirements:
PC or Mac laptop (with admin privileges–no Chromebooks)
willingness to try something new
ability to use Google to search the internet
All levels welcome!
Introduction to Fiction
Spend a week diving into storytelling! Writers will explore different types of fiction while practicing the tools every writer needs to stage their stories, craft unforgettable characters, and keep readers hooked. This week of writing will let you push the boundaries of your imagination!

College Essay Writing
Get a jump on your college applications this summer! By the end of this five-day camp, you’ll take the seed of an idea and develop it into a solid essay. Common App opens August 1–time to get writing!
